Standing room only at Barack Obama Elementary School’s end-of-year culminating concert, where a packed auditorium gathered to celebrate an exceptional evening of student music making. 

On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Jackson Main Elementary School and Barack Obama Elementary School proudly celebrated a joint Grade 6 Moving Up Ceremony at Hempstead High School, honoring scholars as they completed their elementary school journey and prepared for the transition to middle school.

Yesterday, third graders from Barack Obama School performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the Link Up program. Our young musicians proudly showcased their recorder skills and musicianship on one of the world’s most celebrated stages.

The Jackson Main and Barack Obama Mock Trial Teams traveled to the Nassau County Supreme Court Building with confidence and determination as they prepared to compete against the East Hills Mock Trial Team.
